Directors
Eng. Jeremiah Nkowani, appointed Director of SDE Consulting in June 2014. A Malawian Registered Professional Engineer with Malawi Engineering Institution (formerly Malawi Board of Engineers) No. 698 and American Society of Civil Engineers and internationally certified PRINCE2® Project Manager, has 16 years of professional experience managing various water infrastructure projects in Malawi, Lesotho, Tanzania, Norway and Zambia. Eng. Nkowani holds a Master of Science in Hydropower Engineering (Civil) from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, certified PRINCE2® Project Manager Practitioner and Adjunct Lecturer and Researcher at Mzuzu University in the Water Resources Engineering Department.
Chawanangwa H Kayira, appointed Director of SDE Consulting in June 2014. A Malawian and Water Institutional Resources Expert / Engineer, has over 16 years of professional experience managing various projects in Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia. He holds a Master of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management from University of Zimbabwe. He is the principal consultant for SDE Consulting and has worked in many rural development and environmental projects within the Country. He has worked on Projects funded by USAID, EU, World Bank, BADEA and GIZ. He has served for Government of Malawi, Irrigation Rural Livelihoods Project and Shire River Basin Development Programme.
